The Amfani Zhiba Foundation was born out of both personal experience and a deep sense of responsibility. As a young woman from Niger State, I began my career as a minority in gender and in regional representation. Over the years, I witnessed firsthand the barriers faced by women and youth: lack of access to education, cultural restrictions, financial exclusion, and limited representation in leadership. Yet, I also experienced the transformative power of opportunity, mentorship, and support.

My journey from those early days to national leadership roles in finance and public policy is a testament to what is possible when doors are opened. The title of Soniya Asusu Nupe (Treasurer/Queen of Funds for Nupe Land), recently conferred on me, further grounds this responsibility: to use my platform to mobilize resources, amplify voices, and expand opportunities for women and youth.

Through the Amfani Zhiba Foundation, I am committing this privilege and experience to building a future where benefit and goodness are shared by all.
